Madeleine is survived by her four children, Sharon (Gary) of Lloydminister, SK, Reg (Tanis) of Hagen, SK, Sandra (Randy) of Hagen, SK, and Richard of Birch Hills, SK; nine grandchildren, Jason (Shari) Stobbs, Haley (Chris) Rees, Nicole (Gavyn) Dudding, Rebecca (Adam) Dyck, Ashton (Jason) Craven, Launa (Adam) Dunn, Leigh (Tamara) Evans, Bryce Braaten, and Jayden Njaa–Quaale; ten great grandchildren, Austin, Carter, Wyatt, Jessica (Tyler), Tyler, Kadyn, Julian, Lachlan, Rowan, and Avery; and one great-great grandson, Milo. Madeleine leaves behind one sister, Lorraine Toner; and one brother, Raymond Boisson.

Madeleine was predeceased by her husband, Orville; her son-in-law, Rick Evans; her infant granddaughter, Tammy Stobbs; and her infant great granddaughter, Addison Dunn. Madeleine was also predeceased by her sisters, Helen Dauvin, Blanche Sutton and Yvette Stewart; and her brothers, George Boisson, Marcel Boisson and Victor Boisson.

Madeleine was born to Agathe and Raymond Boisson in Kinistino, SK, where she grew up on the family farm south of Kinistino with her 8 siblings. She attended the Omand Country School. On October 10, 1946 she married Orville Quaale of Hagen, SK. They farmed the Quaale farm in the Hagen district until they retired to Birch Hills. Besides being a hard-working farmer’s wife and mother of 4, she worked at the Birch Hills Union Hospital kitchen alongside sister Yvette. Besides being an excellent cook, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, curling, and fishing.

One of my favorite Grandma, Madeleine. A special lady. I had the honor of working with her when she was at Birchview. One of our best dressed lady, one of the family i really admire for taking excellent care of their Mom and the strong family bond they share. I have many good memories with Madeleine, my favorite is our bonding over make up, i might be biased, but i'd love to think i'm one of her favorites too. She'd always share her love for chocolates with us, we can tell with her stash of chocolates and other treats. I will surely miss you Grandma, and i will miss seeing your wonderful family. My deepest Condolence to Sharon, Reg, Sandra and Richard.
