Obituary for Myron Bruce Hadland

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Myron Hadland, late of Prince Albert, SK at home on Friday, January 27th, 2023, at the age of 64 years. Myron was born on August 18, 1958, in Kinistino, SK to Rolf and Myrtle Hadland.

Myron was a true Viking. He loved a good feed of lutefisk, pickled herring, and lefse. He was a die-hard Habs (Montreal Canadians) fan and faithfully watched every game.  He was also known for his sense of humor, though sometimes a bit warped.  Myron loved his tunes especially the old rock, and blues.

Myron fought cancer for a good part of the last 10 years enduring surgeries, radiation, and endless chemotherapy treatments.  Myron is now at peace and pain-free.

Myron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ingrid; his son Quinn; his brothers Gene (Lorraine), Leroy (Judy), Rick (Brenda) and their families; Ingrid’s family his mother-in-law June Carrier; his brothers-in-law, Ian (Amanda), Joel (Melissa), Patrick and their families; his father-in-law Wallace Brown; as well as many friends.

Myron was predeceased by his parents Rolf and Myrtle Hadland; his father-in-law Jack Carrier; and waiting for him at the pearly gates is his great friend Lonnie McCormick.

“Hail to you and be in good spirits.

May Thor protect you and may Odin keep you.”
