It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Coteanne Josephine Patricia Badger, late of Saskatoon, SK formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on December 24th, 2022, at the age of 40 years. Coteanne will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Faith Whitehead, Trixie Whitehead, & Nieomi Hill; her sons Darian Ermine, & Miksiw Hill (Eagleson); her grandchildren Nash Knightly Cappo-Whitehead, & Elayah Vella Cappo-Whitehead; her father Alex Badger; her siblings Emily (Allan) Longjohn, Vivian Badger, Roxanne Badger, Suzanne Badger, & Angus Badger; her adopted sister Laura Naytowhow; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews. Coteanne was predeceased by her mother Katherine Felix; her grandparents Leo (Rev. Emily) Felix, & Leo (Josephine) Badger; her great-grandparents Alex (Suzanne) Felix, & Catherine (Adam); her uncles Fred Badger, Ernest (Harriet) Felix, Mekisew Felix, & an infant at birth; her aunt Donna Moosehunter; & her cousin Alex Jr. Felix. A Wake Service will be held on Friday, December 30th, 2022, at 5:00 PM at Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31st, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiants will be Henry Felix & Alex Sr. Felix. The Honourary Pallbearers are Connie Naytowhow, Nicole McLeod, Bertha Ermine, Carolyn Badger, Lana Ermine, Melissa Whitehead, Dana Johnson, Debbie Whitefish, Charlotte Felix, Nieces & Nephews, Emily Felix-Ermine, and all those who shared in Coteanne’s life. The Pallbearers are Emil Felix, Marcel Jr. Sanderson, Garnett Felix, Thayden Head, Dale Felix, & Kevin Badger. The Interment will take place at West Central Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
