It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clarence Richard Umpherville, late of Prince Albert, SK on December 29th, 2022, at the age of 57 years. Clarence was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 14th, 1965, in Prince Albert, SK to Clair & Rose Umpherville. Clarence will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kerrie Ermine; his children Ashley Umpherville, Grant (Jasmine) Umpherville, Anthony (Destiny) Umpherville, Tara Ackegan, Trisha-Kona (Janaya) Ermine-Umpherville, & Harris Ermine; his grandchildren Justice, Judy, Thotin, Natasha, Tonya, Sypren, Jason, Melody, Atreyu, Katiya, & Kaliah; his mother Rose Umpherville (nee Morin); his sisters Joan Umpherville, Virginia Thunderchild, & Arlene (Steve) Umpherville; his brother Terry (Gloria) Umpherville; his parents-in-law Sandra Felix & Harris Ermine; his sisters-in-law Marie Tssessaze, Dora (Ambrose) Sandypoint, Angie (Howie) MacDonald, Tanya (Fred) Felix, & Linda Nilghe; his brothers-in-law Robert “Wapus” Laliberte, Fabian Ratt, Fred (Marianne) Nilghe, August Nilghe, & Harris “Big Man” Ermine; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, & friends. Clarence was predeceased by his first wife Judy Umpherville (nee Nilghe); his father Clair Umpherville; his sisters Marlene Laliberte, & Janet Ratt; his nephew Travis MacDonald; his niece Jenine Daniels; his parents-in-law Pierre & Madeline Nilghe; his brothers-in-law Napoleon, Victor, & Billy; his maternal grandparents Leon & Virginia Morin of Green Lake, SK; his paternal grandparents Richard & Elizabeth Umpherville of Glen Mary, SK; & his best friend Matthew Ermine. A Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023, at 1:00 PM, a Prayer Service at 7 PM at the Nordale Hall in Prince Albert, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 2023, at 2:00 PM (supper to follow) at Nordale Hall in Prince Albert, SK. The Officiant will be Margaret Ferchuk. The Eulogists will be Helen Thunderchild & Richard Pahtayken. The Honourary Pallbearers are Tanya Felix, Jimmy Ratt, Fred Felix, Archie Kasagan, Howard MacDonald, Duane Ziegler, Phil Crain, Peter Umpherville, Anthony Dreaver, Robert McCormick, Jason McKay, George Sutherland, Wilfred “Ringo” Starr, Bobby Doucette, George “Nitter” Umpherville, Martin Thunderchild, and all those who shared in Clarence’s life.
