It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Johnny Joseyounen, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Wollaston Lake, SK on December 18th, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Johnny was born in Brochet, MB, on March 15th, 1931, to Paul & Ann Joseyounen. Johnny will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lucia; his sons David (Pauline), & Alex (Marie); his daughters MaryAnn (Alex), Therese, & Sara (Frank); his grandsons John, Timothy, Norville (Louise), Ernest, Robert (Sylvia), Jerry, Ricky, Benji, Herman, Anderson, Jarred, Randall, Brendan (Sandra), Justin, Kenneth, & Mitchel; his granddaughters Crystal (Leeroy), Mary, Donna, Sheena (Roland), Sarah, & Ashley; his numerous great grandchildren; his mother-in-law Elise Denechezhe; his brothers-in-law Benjamin (Agnes) Denechezhe, Jonas Denechezhe, & Lawrence Denechezhe; his sisters-in-law Dorine Denechezhe-Kemp, Vicky (Peter) Antsanen, Theresa (Stanley) Tssessaze, Matilda (Leo) Dettanikkeaze, Marie Adele Danttouze, & Susan Joseyounen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends from Wollaston, Black Lake, Lac Brochet, he made friends at many hand games (drum), and he enjoyed playing hand games (drum). Johnny was predeceased by his parents Paul & Ann Joseyounen; his sons Armand Joseyounen, Joseph Joseyounen, & Pierre Joseyounen; his daughters Ida Joseyounen, & Mary Joseyounen; his grandson David Jr. Joseyounen; his brothers Joseph Joseyounen, Moise (Marie) Joseyounen, John Baptiste (Louise) Joseyounen, Peter (Naomi) Joseyounen; his sister Victoria (John Baptiste) Antsanen; his parents-in-law Pascal & MaryAnn Denechezhe; & his brothers-in-law Alphonse Denechezhe & Morris Denechezhe. A Wake Service will be held on December 20th & 21st, 2022 at the residence of Therese Joseyounen in Wollaston Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 22nd, 2022, at 2 PM at St Adrian Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Joji Chandamala. The Honourary Pallbearers are Crystal, Ashley, Sarah, Mary, Donna, Sheena, Anderson, Jarred, Randall, and all those who shared in Johnny’s life. The Pallbearers are John J, Norville J, Robert J, Ernest J, Jerry J, Ricky J, Herman J, Benjiman J, Timothy B, Justin J, Kenneth J,Mitchel J, Sheaden J, Donovan J, & Brendan J.
