It is with great sadness we are announcing the passing of Ermes (Ernie) Dreolini, late of Prince Albert, SK on December 4th, 2022, at the age of 88 years. Ernie was born in Basiliano, Udine province of Italy on July 25th, 1934, to Giorgio and Marialuigia. Ernie learned carpentry in Europe and worked in the coal mines in Belgium as a teenager. He came to Canada at age 22 and worked in various jobs such as brickmaking, catering, carpet sales and installation, and coffin making. Eventually, he got into construction and managed to start his own construction company. Dreolini Construction Ltd., where he was in demand for his carpentry and concrete skills. Ernie was known for his humor and generosity. Ernie had many friends throughout the business world and beyond. Ernie will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Anna, Julie, & Lisa, and his sons Kenneth, Anthony, & Michael. Ernie was predeceased by his wife Cathy; his sons Robert, & Romeo; his parents Giorgio & Marialuigia; his brothers Antonio, Raimondo, & Pietro; and his sisters AnnaRosa, Rosalba, & Lina.
