It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kristen Taylor Rene Naytowhow, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK on October 3rd, 2022, at the age of 23 years. Kristen was born on November 21st, 1998 to Annette Naytowhow and Richard Ziegler in Prince Albert, SK. Kristen will be lovingly remembered by her common-law partner Dwight Ermine; her children D.J Ermine, Krissette Ermine, Tashawn Ermine, & Blake Ermine; her parents Annette Naytowhow & Richard Ziegler; her siblings Justin (Tanisha) Naytowhow, Kayla Naytowhow, Shawnee Naytowhow, Anna Naytowhow, Cody Badger, & Cheyenne (Cecile) Badger; her grandfather Joseph Vallee; her grandmother Betty Ermine; her father-in-law Robert (Rhonda) Ermine; as well as numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. Kristen was predeceased by her aunts Delphine Naytowhow, Lee Naytowhow, & Carol Gamble; her uncles Glen Naytowhow & Bradley Naytowhow; her cousin Sheridan Johnstone; her grandparents Florence Naytowhow, Genevieve Ziegler, Richard Smaginas, Robert Sr. Ermine & her mother-in-law Marion Ermine. A Wake Service will be held on October 6th & 7th, 2022 at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiants will be the Community Elders. The Honourary Pallbearers are Faith Ballantyne, Hilliary Roberts, Brianna Daniels, Keisha Naytowhow, Santana Ermine, Salisha Felix, Laura Naytowhow, Alicia Naytowhow, Alyssa Ballantyne, and all those who shared in Kristen’s life. The Pallbearers are Dustin Naytowhow, Darren Badger, Bradley Naytowhow, Bobby Ermine, Jarrett Naytowhow, Travis Beauchene, Abrey Naytowhow, & Robert Naytowhow.
