It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pierre Joseph Josie, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Wollaston Lake, SK on September 30th, 2022, at the age of 55 years. Pierre was born in La Ronge, SK on March 22nd, 1967, to Phillip & Charlotte Josie. Pierre was predeceased by his loving mother Charlotte Josie (nee Moise); his uncles William (Adelaide) Josie, Pierre Josie, & Adam Moise; his aunt Rosalie Moise; his nephews Adam Moise & Pierre Moise; his niece Rozina Moise; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Eugene (Adele (nee Cook)) Benonie; his sisters-in-law: Marie Benonie & Suzanne Benonie; his brother-in-law Stanley Benonie; & his friends Allen Jy, Joe Besskkaystare, & Gary Bird. A Visitation Service will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, at 1 PM at MacKenzie Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. A Wake Service will be held on October 6th & 7th, 2022 at the residence of Jordon Josie in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at 2 PM at St Adrian’s Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Joji Chandamala. His Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Pierre. The Pallbearers are Angus Josie, Emil Josie, Jamie Josie, Jordon Josie, Preston Josie, Jason Josie, Jade Josie, Leonard Tsannie, Jimmy Dzeylion, David Dantouze, Brian Henderson, & Gordon Bendoni.
