Obituary for Marguerite "Maggie" Daigneault

It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my dear wife Maggie Daigneault, late of Prince Albert, SK who passed away at home peacefully on the morning of April 27th, 2022, surrounded by me, her loving husband Wayne, and her caring niece Sandra.
Maggie was born in Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK on January 29th, 1940, to William & Genevieve Daigneault.
In the early 1960’s Maggie left Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK, and ventured to Edmonton, AB, where she worked at the GWG Factory, where she was sewing jeans. From Edmonton, AB, she ventured over to Chilliwack, BC, and Vancouver, BC, then in the mid-’70s Maggie made her way to Prince Albert, SK, and that’s where she called home. Over the course of Maggie’s life, she worked many jobs, her last job being at the Northern Lights Casino.
In January 1987, Maggie met her lifetime partner & best friend Wayne. They were inseparable ever since the first date.
Maggie is survived by her husband Wayne; her stepdaughter Tina; her sister Bernice Diagneault; her aunties Eliza Aubichon & Alice Georges; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, too many to mention but never forgotten.
Maggie is predeceased by her parents Michel & Genevieve Daigneault; her brothers Johnny Roger Daigneault, James Daigneault, & Alex Campbell; & her special nephew Jamie Hammersmith. A Visitation will be held at MacKenzie Chapel (130 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK) on Friday, April 29th at 7 PM. A Celebration of Life will be at the Army and Navy Club (25 11th Street West, Prince Albert, SK) on Sunday, May 1st at 2 PM.
