It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Peter George Fern, late of Fond Du Lac, SK on April 17th, 2022, at the age of 61 years. Peter was born in Uranium City, SK on January 3rd, 1961, to Pierre and Antionette Fern. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 44 years Marilyn Fern; his children Corinne (Louie), Crystal (Eric), Cynthia (Garrie), Peter Jr. (Joni), & Curtis (Shannon); his stepsons Peter (Michelle), & Donnie Augier; his grandchildren Taylor, Hailey, Erin, Garrick, Lyman, Owen, Cohen, Scarlett, Cailyn, Lux, Xavier, Emery, Isaiah, Tanner, Liam, & Saylia; his great-grandson Bentley; his daughter-in-law: Sabrina Fern; his siblings Lisa (Gabriel), Shirley, Ronald (Alberta), & Diane (Chris); his in-laws Norma, Eva (Napoleon), Eileen (Martin), Morris (Celina), Gerald, Alex, Steven, & Lorraine (Tony); his aunties & uncles Angie (Jen’s), Mary (Mathew), Elsie, Fred, Helen (Willie John), Agatha, Rosalie (George), Adolphus (Debbie), & Dorothy; his friends Scott Hale, Adam & Julie, Dwayne Butterfield, Alex Bigeye, Dave Webster, Eddie Whitedeer, Leon Alphonse, Mervin Adam, William Dzeylion, Thomas Sha’oulle, Simon & Sarah Samual, Mitch (Angie), Napoleon Pacquette, Fr. Peter was predeceased by his parents Pierre & Antionette Fern; his children Colleen, James, & Travis Fern; his grandchildren Casmeiria, Lyman, Zainnah, Pheonix, & Christian; his great-granddaughter Arianna; his grandparents Helen & Sagonie, Joseph Label, Louie Martin, & Bernadette Mercredi; his father-in-law & mother-in-law Paul & Evelyn Mercredi; his in-laws Johnny, Dorothy, Marcel, Linda, Donald, Roger & Irene, Louie Roy & Rachel, Armand Sayazie; his uncles and aunties Meredith & Louie, Dora & Victor, Jules McDonald, Mary Rose & Pierre Robillard, Helen Robillard, Leon & Julianne & Lena, Norbert & Columbe Fern, Celine & Stan, Daniel, William, Gerald, John James & Louise, Christine, Mary, & Thomas Lidguerre; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Wake Service will be commencing Monday, April 25th, 2022, at the residence of Marilyn and Peter Fern in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service will take place at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, at 2:00 pm in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Officiant will be Father Paul Oshin. Peter’s Honourary Pallbearers are all those who shared in Peter’s life. Peter’s Pallbearers are Helen Ganson, Benny McDonald, Victor Rennie, Tyrel Duff, David Duff, Cory Hale, Peter Marcoux, Ted Robillard, Jimmy Isadore, Donald (Rosanna) McDonald, Freddy CN, Al (Sheila) Sean, Jules (Doris) Lidguerre, & River Adam.
