It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lazarus Fern, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Fond Du Lac, SK on February 18th, 2022, at the age of 85 years. Lazarus was born on March 11th, 1936 in Fond Du Lac, SK. Lazarus will be lovingly remembered by his nephews Peter Broomstad, Vincent Pische, Nathan Lidguerre & kids, Renee (Martine) Lidguerre & their kids, Danielle Lidguerre & children, Dorie Lidguerre & kid, & Gabie Lidguerre; his nieces Dorothy (Don) Deranger & kids, Doreen Lidguerre, Johnny (Cathy) & kids, Henry Piche & kids, & Noel (Regina) Pische & kids; his cousins Pierre Lidguerre, Frank Lidguerre, Jules (Doris) Lidguerre, Theresa (Mervin) Adam, Margaret (Rod) Denego & kids, & Alfred Naldzil & kids, as well as numerous cousins and friends. Lazarus was predeceased by his parents Henry and Christine Fern; his stepmother Genevieve Fern; his sisters Margaret Fern, & Madeline (Paul) Pische; his brothers Louie Fern, Arson Fern, Alexson Fern, & Thomas Fern; his cousins August (Alice) Lidguerre, Thomas Lidguerre, Pauline Naldzil, Eleanor (Clemont) Pische, & Judy (Leon) Mercredi; His grandparents; his nephews Rodger Lidguerre; as well as numerous other family members. A Wake Service will be held at the Residence of Nathan & Jennifer Lidguerre on Wednesday February 23rd to Friday, February 25th, 2022, in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows on Friday, February 25th, 2022, at 2 PM in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Officiant is Father Paul Oshin. Lazarus’s Honourary Pallbearers are Rodi Denego, Ruby Callioux, Robin Denego, Doreen Lidguerre, Tony Randhile, Marc Pacquette, Margie Pacquette, Victor Pische, and all those who shared in Lazarus’s life. His Pallbearers Nathan, Vincent, Rene, Gabbie, Dorie, Dante, Henry, Noel, Johnny, Joey, Brodie, Joe, Darnella, & Devon. The Interment is at Fond Du Lac Cemetery in Fond Du Lac, SK.
