It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pierre Alfred Whitedeer, late of Muskoday, SK on February 7th, 2022, in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 57 years. Pierre was born on October 31st, 1964, in Fond Du Lac, SK. Pierre will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cheryl Whitedeer; his sons Nevan Martell (Alexa Mae), James Jr Whitedeer, & Dallas Whitedeer; his stepdaughters Morning Dawn Weenonis, & Kiera Weenonis; his grandchildren Trinity, Stephanie, Monell, Dante, Khyren, Christian, Alexander, Avery, Patrick, & Jersey; his siblings Mary (Fred) Mercredi, Lena (Lawrence) Adam, Elizabeth (Robert) Charlette, Celine (Lester) Pearson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & relatives. Pierre was predeceased by his parents Francois (Louise) Whitedeer; his brother Willie Whitedeer; his sisters Freda Whitedeer, & Marie Whitedeer (William Throassie); his grandparents Vincent Whitedeer, Dorothy Whitedeer, John Deranger, & Julie Deranger; his nieces & nephews Russell Whitedeer, Wesley Yooya, Tracy Yooya, Waylon (Tyson) Whitedeer, Timothy Charlette (Missing), & Kourtney McKimmon; & his stepson Teddy Martell. A Wake Service will be commencing February 9th, 2022, at 4 PM at East End Hall in Prince Albert, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 11th, 2022, at 11 AM at St. James Anglican Church in Muskoday, SK. The Officiant will be Rev. Jordan Draper. Pierre’s Honourary Pallbearers will be Jacob Moosuk, Randal Whitedeer, Archie Adam, James Isadore, Joseph Nambiennare, BJ Sorenson, Joe Montgrand, Kevin (Gun Gun) Mercredi, and all those who shared in Pierre’s life. The Pallbearers are Archie Adam, Danny Pacquette, Joseph Nambiennare, Joe Crane, Ron Smith, & James Isadore. The Interment will take place at Muskoday First Nation Cemetery in Muskoday, SK.
