It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Warner Edward Goodvoice, late of Wahpeton Dakota Nation, SK on January 27th, 2022, at the age of 69 years.  Warner was born on September 24th, 1952, in Prince Albert, SK. Warner will be lovingly remembered by his wife Darsi; his children Vince (Twyla), Shannon (Derrick), Alana (Jeff), Ashley (Denis), Belinda, Dustin (Shauna), Natasha (Sheldon) & Tia; his 23 grandchildren; his 3 great-grandchildren; his sisters Shirley, Darlene, Audrey, & Deborah; and his brother Leonard “Chuck”. Warner was predeceased by his parents Edward Goodvoice & May Roberts; his son Claude Goulet; and his sister at infancy. A Wake service will be held at Wahpeton Communiplex on January 29th & 30th, 2022 at 4 PM in Wahpeton Dakota Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will be held at Wahpeton Communiplex on Monday, January 31st, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Wahpeton Dakota Nation, SK.  The Officiant will be Clayton Waditaka. His Honourary Pallbearers are the “Tomcats” and all those who shared in Warner’s life. His Pallbearers are Jeff Crain, Billy Longjohn, Denis Parenteau, Travis Whitehead, Derrick Sanderson, & Jason Laurin.
