It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nicole Leah Scott, late of Edmonton, AB formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on December 25th, 2021, at the age of 37 years. Nicole will be lovingly remembered by her special friend Mike Scholz; her daughter Nikki Scott-Wright; her mother Beverly Benson; her siblings Chad (Bella) Scott, Daryl Benson, Montana Scott, Brittany (Lee) Scott, & Zachary Scott; her special relatives Uncle Curtis (Lannette) Moosehunter & Family; her uncle Dion Moosehunter; her special auntie Alicia Moosomin; & her special cousins Danielle Waditaka, Cory Badger, Mike Scott, Chasity Scott, Ashley Moosehunter, & Shawn Moosehunter. Nicole was predeceased by her son Chase Scott-Benson; her father Delvin Benson; her maternal grandparents Walter (Bernice (Scott)) Moosehunter; her paternal grandparents Isaac (Nina (Bull Chief)) Benson; her moshom John-George Scott; & her chapans Justin (Dorothy (Okemaysim)) Scott. A Wake service will be held at Sturgeon Lake Community Hall on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held at Sturgeon Lake Community Hall on Thursday, December 30th, 2021, at 11:00 am in Sturgeon Lake, Sk with a lunch to follow.  The Officiants will be Community Elders & MC Robin Longjohn. The Drum group will be Iron Swing. The Interment will take place at West Central Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
