It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Jane Kasyon, late of Stony Rapids, SK in Regina, SK at the age of 71 years. Mary Jane was born on March 12th, 1950, in Stony Rapids, SK.  Mary Jane will be lovingly remembered by her children Steven, Jeffery, Kenny, James, Shawna, Kathy & Mike; her grandchildren Justice, Brainna, Deedrae, Mary-Rose, Krissy, Doris, Roy, Tanya, Samara, Tyson, Kristy, & Felicity; her great-grandchildren Devon, Tanner, Alyssa, Clayton, Preley, Jackson, Aria, Alexandreana, Tyrus, Tristen, Damien, Gabriel, Cora, Avery, & Mariana; her adopted son Orel Montgrand; her siblings Mary Rose, & Ernest; her stepsiblings Brenda Montgrand, Alphonse Kasyon, & Clara MacDonald, Dora Robillard; her best friends Annie Bigeye, Eileen Bruno, Elizabeth Seegerts, Helen Boneleye, Dora Sandypoint, & Bev Cheechoo.  As well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, co-workers, & students from all over the place.  Mary Jane was predeceased by her husband/special friend Alfred Kasyon; her son Dale Kasyon; her mom & stepdad Margaret (Germaine) Dadzene; her brothers Billy Bouvier, Phillip Bouvier, Peter & Allan Kasyon; her stepsister Doris Montgrand; her in-laws Jonas (Marie) Kasyon.  A Wake Service will be commencing September 23rd, 2021, at 11 AM at the residence of Mary Jane Kasyon in Stony Rapids, SK.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, at 2 PM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Stony Rapids, SK.  Her Honourary Pallbearers are all those who shared in Mary Jane’s life.  Her Pallbearers were Steven Kasyon, Kenny Kasyon, Justice Kasyon, John Seegerts, John Hansen, & Richard Toutsaint.  The Interment will take place at Stony Rapids Cemetery in Stony Rapids, SK.  Condolences can be sent to the family on our website at www.mackenziechapel.ca.  Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium – Shellbrook Funeral Home.  Brian & Bev Stobbs, Mark Gyoerick – Mel Curle. 306.763.8488.
