It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Leonard Albert Montgrand, late of Turner Lake, SK on May 28th, 2021, at the age of 51 years.  Leonard was born on November 3rd, 1969, in Ile a la Crosse, SK.  Leonard will be lovingly remembered by his mother Therese Montgrand; his sister Beverly (John) Montgrand; his brothers Peter Montgrand, Gary Montgrand, Tristen Chartier & Steven (Tanya) Montgrand as well as many nieces & nephews.  Leonard was predeceased by his father Albert Montgrand; his brother Denny Chartier; his grandparents Joe Bagg; Eleanor & Jean Marie Montgrand, Elise & Leon Montgrand; his aunt Jean Montgrand; his uncles Norman Montgrand, Barry Montgrand & Bruno Montgrand; his cousins Glenda Desjardin, Shauntia Tobac, Tyrant Montgrand, BABY Shalayah & Clarence Montgrand.  A Wake Service will be commencing June 1st, 2021, at the residence of Therese Montgrand in Turner Lake, SK.  A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 3rd, 2021, at 2 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes in Turner Lake, SK.  The officiant will be Father Maria Robert SDM.  His honourary pallbearers are all those who shared in Leonard’s life.  His pallbearers are Steven Montgrand, Gary Montgrand, Rodney Montgrand, James Montgrand, Steve Montgrand, & Paul Montgrand.  Interment will take place at Turner Lake Cemetery located in Turner Lake, SK.  Condolences can be sent to the family on our website at www.mackenziechapel.ca.  Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium – Shellbrook Funeral Home.  Brian & Bev Stobbs, Renee Phaneuf & Mark Gyoerick. 306.763.8488.
