Obituary for Howard William Bighead
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Howard William Bighead, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK, on September 2, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Howard was born on August 31, 1932, in Sturgeon Lake, SK, to parents: William Bighead and Victoria Charles.
Howard is survived by his daughter: Maureen Ahenakew (Edgar) of Prince Albert, SK; his sons: Craig Bighead (Shirley) of Prince Albert, SK, Frank Bighead (Joyce) of Prince Albert, SK and Darwin Bighead of Sturgeon Lake, SK; his adopted children: Conrad Bird of Montreal Lake, SK, Delilah Smith of Montreal Lake, SK and Brenda Merasty of Prince Albert, SK; his sister-in-law: Margaret Gardner; his brother-in-law: Willard Ahenakew; his special cousin: Yvonne Seesequasis; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Howard was predeceased by his wife: Marjorie Bighead (nee Ahenakew); his sons: Ron Bighead, Conrad Bighead; his daughter: Marjorie Ann Ahenakew (nee Bighead); his parents: William Bighead, Victoria Charles; his sister: Mary Genroux; and his brother: Gordon Bighead.
A Visitation for Howard will take place on Thursday September 3, 2020, at 4:00PM, located at the Senator Allen Bird Gymnasium in Prince Albert, SK. A Wake Service is set for Friday September 4, 2020 at 4:00PM, located at the Sturgeon Lake School Gymnasium, located in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will then take place on Saturday September 5, 2020 at 1:00PM, also located at the Sturgeon Lake School Gymnasium, in Sturgeon Lake, SK. Interment at the Sturgeon Lake East End Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
