ALBERT JOSEPH COCHET
December 2, 1955 - May 15, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Joseph Cochet formerly of Birch Hills, SK. He passed away peacefully at the Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert, SK, on May 15, 2020 at the age of 64. Albert is survived by his Mom, Luella (Farncombe) Cochet: his sister, Doris (Emile) Hounjet and their children Nicole (Gary) Ball, Denis (Christa) Hounjet, Lisette (Tavis) McPherson & Philip (Amanda) Hounjet; his brothers; Gregory (Irene) Cochet and their children Mark Cochet (Nina), Scott (Sarah) Cochet & Elise (Braydon) Potter; Paul (Cecile) Cochet & their children, Luc Cochet & Melissa Cochet; his sister-in-law Jackie Cochet & her daughter, Sheena Cochet; his 9 great nieces & nephews & all his special cousins. He was predeceased by his Dad, Berchmans (Berk) Cochet & his brother, Edward Cochet. Albert grew up on the family farm between St. Louis & Birch Hills & attended St. Louis school. He worked for the Birch Hills Coop for over 40 years. He then worked for a local farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping & spending time with family. He also liked tinkering & fixing things. All his nieces & nephews have a special place in their hearts for "Uncle Albert" & they all had a special place in his heart as well. The family would like to thank the staff at Victoria Union Hospital & anyone else that did acts of kindness for Albert especially in the last few weeks. Due to the current pandemic situation a graveside ceremony at South Hill Cemetery in Prince Albert will be held at a later date for immediate family only.
