Alice passed away peacefully on March 14, 2020 in Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. She was born in the Red Cross Outpost Hospital in Paddockwood on February 21, 1926. The 4th child of Frank and Annie Maltby. She attended Eckholm School. In 1946 she married Richard (Dick) Marsh, they farmed in the Eckholm area until moving closer to Christopher Lake when their children started school.
Alice was active in the lady’s legion auxiliary and other organizations in the area. Helping put on bake sales, fall suppers and catering. She and Dick continued to be involved in farming, bringing meals at harvest and assisting when needed. She was a devoted mom and grandma that treasured her boys and grandchildren, embracing every moment with their families.
Alice’s door was always open for coffee and a visit and of course a cookie or a piece of cake. In later years, Alice moved to River Breeze assisted living where she lived until she was hospitalized. Our loving mom, grandma, friend and all who’s lives she touched will be sadly missed.
