Obituary for Brittany Nicole Tawpisin
It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brittany Nicole Tawpisin, late of Saskatoon/Sakimay First Nation, SK, on March 9, 2020 at the age of 28 years. Brittany was born on April 28, 1991 in Regina, SK, to parents: Cliff Tawpisin and Wanda Sangwai.
Brittany is lovingly remembered by her sons: Elijah and Jaxson; her parents: Cliff & Brenda Tawpisin and Wanda Sangwais (Terry Flamont); her siblings: Rachel, Jason, Brianna, Randie, Chantel, Alexandra, Trinity and Blaine; her grandparents: Marge Tawpisin and Cliff (Audrey) Tawpisin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brittany was predeceased by her grandmother: Marieta Rose Sangwais; her aunt: Carmen Sangwais; and her uncles: Dwayne Tawpisin and Leon Tawpisin.
A Wake Service for Brittany will take place on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at 6:00PM located at the School Gymnasium in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK. A Memorial Service for Brittany will then be held on Thursday March 12, 2020 at 11:00AM also located at the School Gym in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK. A Funeral Service is set to commence on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 2:00PM located at the Community Complex in Sakimay First Nation, SK. Interment at the Sakimay Cemetery in Sakimay First Nation, SK.
