It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Louis Modest Mercredi, late of Fond Du Lac, SK on February 9, 2020 at the age of 76 years. Louis was born on August 27, 1943 in Fond Du Lac, SK to parents: Fred and Sarah Mercredi.
Louis is survived by his daughters: Evelyn Crookedneck and Valentina (Clifford) Lidguerre; his sons: Adrian, Gary and Dave Mercredi; his grandchildren: Timothy (Stephanie) Mercredi, Alvin Adam, Simon Mercredi, Kelsey Lidguerre, Chelsey Lidguerre, Trevor Lidguerre, Tyson Lidguerre and Josh Mercredi; his great grandchildren: Coby Mercredi, Zoey Mercredi, Jade Mercredi, Tyler Fern, Tianna Lidguerre and Myles Fern; his son-in-law: Matthew Adam; his sisters: Lena Fern, Rosie (Victor) Robillard and Hononine Mercredi; his in-laws: Georgie Crookedneck, Freddy (Florence) Medal, Albert (Rosanne) Crookedneck, Jerry Crookedneck and Mary Thompson.
Louis is predeceased by his wife: Catherine Mercredi; his daughters: Liza Mercredi and Liberta Adam; his parents: Fred and Sarah Mercredi; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Henry and Emerance Crookedneck; his siblings: Leon & Judith Mercredi, Lawerance & Madeline Mercredi, Rosanne & Noel Isadore and Agnes & August Mercredi; his in-laws: Laura (Norbert) Cook and Leon Fern; his uncles: Napolean Mercredi and Eli Henerazie; his auntie: Louise Henerazie; his nieces: Sharon Robillard, Albertine McDonald and Mary Randhile; his nephews: John Mercredi, Ernie Mercredi, Albert Mercredi and Napolean Mercredi.
A Visitation for Louis will take place on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at 11:00AM at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. A Wake Service will then begin later on Tuesday February 11, 2020 located at the Residence of Valentina and Clifford Lidguerre in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service for Louis is to take place on Friday February 14, 2020 at 2:00PM located at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Fond Du Lac, SK.
