Obituary for Evelyn Corrigal (Redman)

Evelyn Demaris Corrigal (ne Redman). February 26, 1935-January 16, 2020.
It is with heavy hearts Evelyn’s family announces the passing of an incredible Mother, Grandmother, Wife and Friend.

The youngest daughter of William and Lucy Redman, she grew up in Melfort, SK. At the age of 18 Evelyn moved to Prince Albert to attend nursing school where she met and married Tim (TC) Corrigal on September 22, 1956. Together they built a life and raised their 3 boys. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she spent countless hours with them. The summers spent together at the lake will be forever cherished. She was an avid gardener, and in the spring could be found in her greenhouse. Her winters were spent in hockey rinks, never missing a game. She was predeceased by her husband Tim (TC) Corrigal on December 3, 1998.

Evelyn leaves behind, her sons Jay (Janet), Tim (Rhonda), Kelly (Marilyn). Grandchildren Bryn Pruden (Mitchell), Tyler (Sarah), Tanner (Samantha), Reid and Connor (Taryn) Corrigal. Great Grandchildren Ella, Kenzie, Piper and Brexx. And her sister Mona Sefton. She touched the lives of many, young and old, known as Mrs. or Grandma “C”, Evelyn was always ready to help anyone at any time and never a complaint passed her lips.

The family would like to thank the Prince Albert Home Care team and nurses in the palliative care unit at VUH for taking such good care of Evelyn. We will be forever grateful for an Angel on Earth, Shelley Williams, who has been an amazing support to Evelyn and the family.
Respecting Evelyns wishes, there will be a private family burial service at a later date. Arrangements are pending. Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium Brian and Bev Stobbs, Renée Phaneuf - Funeral Directors. www.MacKenzieChapel.ca . 306.763.8488
