It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerome Paul Sylvestre, late of Dillon, SK, on December 31, 2019 at the age of 78 years. Jerome was born on June 1, 1941 in Clear Lake, SK to parents: J.B. and Marie (nee Maurice) Sylvestre.
Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 58 years: Mary Sylvester; his children: Cyril (Rita) Sylvester, Sharon Sylvester, Ida Sylvester, Vernon (Tracy) Sylvester, Lynda (David) Sylvester, Marilyn (Albert) Sylvester, Effie (Joe) Sylvester, Karen Sylvestre, Renee (Craig) Sylvestre, and Greg (Chantilly) Sylvester; his grandchildren: Sheryl (Phillip) Sylvestre, Katie Sylvestre, Christian Sylvestre, Chris Sylvestre, Jodie (Jolissa) Sylvester, Jenny (Alwyn) Sylvester, Joni (Tavren) Herman, Jeremy Sylvester, Shawn (Stephanie) Montgrand, Jamie Sylvester, Destanie Chanalquay, Dairian Chanalquay, Anthony (Melinda) Sylvester, Hayden Sunchild, Kyle Dawson, Keira Dawson, Keanna Dawson, Kim (Justin) Sylvester, Belinda Sylvester, Keegan (Reva) Daigneault, Courtney (Aaron) Daigneault, Craig (Taylor) Daigneault, Jonathon (Cheryl) Sylvester, Tiffany (Trevor) Moberly, Magen (Rodney) Sylvester, Jeremy (Michelle) Chartier, Joshua (Ashlee) Daigneault, Jaiden (Shaelynne) Daigneault, Melanie Sylvester, Jordan Sylvester, Ashley Sylvester, Jamie Sylvester, Keenan Sylvester, Kole Gardiner, Kaydence Gardiner, Nicole (Cory) Janvier, Colby Janvier, Kenzie Sylvester, Shaylee Montgrand, Taven Sylvester, Genesis Sylvester, Asher Sylvester, Thalen Sylvester, Trisha (Brandon) Cataract, and Ashlee (Joshua) Cataract; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Jerome is predeceased by his parents: JB & Marie Sylvester; his daughter: Rose Sylvester; his adopted son: Roy Sylvester; his brothers: Lawrence Sylvester, Norman Sylvester, and Daniel Sylvester; as well as his brothers and sisters unknown at birth; and his grandchildren: Darci Chanalquay, Gail Sylvester, and Wade Nezcroche.
A Wake Service for Jerome will start on Thursday January 2, 2020 at the Residence of Paul and Mary Sylvester in Turnor Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will then take place on Monday January 6, 2020 at 2:00PM located at the Birch Narrows Dene Community School in Turnor Lake, SK. Interment at the Turnor Lake Roman Catholic Cemetery in Turnor Lake, SK.
