Obituary for Roxanne Joy Hunter

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roxanne Joy Hunter on November 5, 2019 at the Pasque Hospital, Regina, SK. Roxanne, our daughter, sister and auntie, brought joy and laughter to our family and her wide community of special friends. She leaves to mourn her father, Thomas; mother, Joyce; brothers Darryl, Garlin, and Trent; sister Alynn; nieces and nephews, Robin, Chelle, Keir, Liam, Janae, Teya, Andrew and Owen; in-laws, Sandy, Judy, Fiona and Teresa; and godsons Robin and Andrew. Roxanne had a long career in the IT industry and has varied talents and interests. She travelled the world, and loved her Roughriders, collecting, baking, chocolate, jewelry and card making, and George C. She should also be remembered for her distinguished military service and various volunteer pursuits. We invite you to join us to Celebrate Roxanne’s Life at 2:00PM, on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 3233 Argyle Rd., Regina, SK. Interment at the Birch Hills Cemetery at a later date. Donations, while not necessary, may be forwarded to the Canadian Cancer Society (55 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto, ON, M4V 2Y7) in order to advance early detection of ovarian cancer.
