Obituary for Jody Crystal Whitefish
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jody Crystal Whitefish, late of Mistawasis, SK, on July 6, 2019 at the age of 32 years. Jody was born on December 7, 1986 in Big River, SK to parents: Maurice Whitefish and Patricia Daniels.
Jody is survived by her loving children: Madison, Jaida, Sadie, Damian JR, and Emma Ledoux all of Mistawasis; her long-time friend and father of her children: Damian Ledoux of Mistawasis; her loving mother: Patricia Daniels of Mistawasis; her loving father: Maurice (Lillian) Whitefish of Big River; her sisters: Chastity (Terrance) Seeseequasis of Saskatoon; Amanda Whitefish (Benn) of Mistawasis; Natalie Iron of Saskatoon; Leona Horsefall of Mistawasis; Felicia (Lawrence) Cameron of Saskatoon, Trish Smith (Chris) of Prince Albert; and Caroline Bear of Big River First Nation; her brothers: Elvis Whitefish (Elaine) of Little Buffalo, AB; Morris Whitefish (Gwen) of Witchekan; Dustin Whitefish (Shayleen) of Mistawasis and Dylan Daniels of Mistawasis; all her adopted brothers and sisters; special nieces and nephews, kohkums, mushoms, aunties, uncles, and everyone that knew and loved her; her maternal grandmother: Leona Daniels of Mistawasis; and her paternal grandmother: Lucy Whitefish of Big River First Nation.
Jody is predeceased by her brother: Gregory Whitefish; her maternal grandfather’s: George and Ivan Daniels; her maternal grandmother: Donna Daniels; and her paternal grandfather: George Whitefish.
A Wake Service for Jody will take place on Saturday July 6 to Monday July 8, 2019 at the residence of Patricia Daniels in Mistawasis, SK, and then from Tuesday July 9 to Thursday July 11, 2019 at the Chief Mistawasis School Gymnasium also in Mistawasis, SK. A Funeral Service will then be held on Friday July 12, 2019 at 1:00PM also located at the Chief Mistawasis School Gymnasium in Mistawasis, SK.
