Obituary for Antoinette Ballantyne (Badger)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antoinette Ballantyne, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK, on April 24, 2019 in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 91 years. Antoinette was born on April 29, 1927 to parents: Charles and Georgina (nee Badger) Ballantyne.
Antoinette will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: June Ballantyne (Latender), Doreen Ballantyne (Sorenson) and Ivy Buekert; her aunt: Lillian Crowe (Badger); her sister: Margret Anderson; her brother: Peter Ballantyne; her grandchildren: Tracy (Robin) Fiddler, Sheri Sorenson, Terry Sorenson and Crystal Buekert; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Antoinette was predeceased by her husband: Albert Elias Ballantyne; her daughter and son: Bertha Ballantyne and Steven Ballantyne; her parents: Georgina (nee Badger) and Charles Ballantyne; her brother: Lawrence Ballantyne; her grandchildren: Elvis Albert Ballantyne and Crystal Ballantyne; her great, great granddaughters: Shonnelle Sorenson and Crystal Ballantyne; her grandmother: Alice Badger; her grandfather: John Badger; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Wake Service for Antoinette will be held on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 5:00PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will then be held on Monday April 29, 2019 at 2:00PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. Interment will follow at the East End Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
