It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Mercredi, late of Fond Du Lac, SK, on Sunday April 14, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Catherine was born on November 23, 1948 in Fond Du Lac, SK to parents: Henry and Emerance Crookedneck.
Catherine is lovingly remembered by her husband: Louis Mercredi; her daughters: Evelyn Crookedneck and Valentina (Clifford) Lidguerre; her sons: Adrian, Gary and Dave Mercredi; her grandchildren: Timothy (Stephanie) Mercredi, Alvin Adam, Simon Mercredi, Kelsey Lidguerre, Chelsey Lidguerre, Trevor Lidguerre, Tyson Lidguerre and Josh Mercredi; her great grandchildren: Coby Mercredi, Jade Mercredi, Tyler Fern, Tianna Lidguerre and Myles Fern; her son-in-law: Matthew Adam; her sisters: Mary (Glenn) Thompson and Linda (Alex) Mercredi; her brothers: George Crookedneck, Freddy (Florence) Medal, Albert (Rosanne) Crookedneck and Jerry Crookedneck; and her in-laws: Lena Fern, Rosie (Victor) Robillard and Honorine Mercredi.
Catherine was predeceased by her daughters: Liza Mercredi and Liberta Adam; her parents: Henry & Emerence Crookedneck; her mother & father-in-law: Fred and Sarah Mercredi; her in-laws: Leon & Judith Mercredi, Lawrence & Madeline Mercredi, Leon Fern, Rosanne & Noel Isadore and Agnes & August Mercredi; her sister: Laura (Norbert) Cook; and her uncle: Eli (Louise) Henerazie.
A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday April 16, 2019 to Friday April 19, 2019 at the residence of Louis Mercredi in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service will follow on Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows church at 2:00PM in Fond Du Lac, SK. Interment will then take place at the Fond Du Lac Cemetery in Fond Du Lac, SK.
