Obituary for Joanne Rose Wolfe (Lafond)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne Rose Wolfe-Lafond, late of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK, on January 13, 2019.
Joanne was born on November 22, 1962 to parents: James and Georgina nee (Longneck) Wolfe. She is survived by her husband: Leonard Jack Lafond; her children: Kelly (Kim) Wolfe and Amanda (Gene Jr.) Wolfe; her grandchildren: Brittany Bird, Kailey Wolfe, Devon Wolfe, Kaitlin Wolfe and Merrick Wolfe-Gamble; her great-grandchildren: Lyla Bird; her father: James Wolfe; her siblings: Louis (Sheila) LeDoux, Gloria (Bert) Wolfe and Carole Wolfe; her brother-in-law: Frank Greyeyes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joanne is predeceased by her mother: Geogina nee (Longneck) Wolfe; her brothers: Gary Wolfe and James Wolfe Jr.; her sister: Virginia Greyeyes; her grandparents: Felix and Rosa Longneck and Louis and Caroline Wolfe; and her nieces: Karina Wolfe and Rachel Wolf.
A Wake Service will be held on Friday January 18, 2019 at 1:00PM at the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation School Gymnasium in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will follow on Saturday January 19, 2019 at 1:00PM at the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation School Gymnasium located in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK.
