Jean D’arc Day

Jean D’arc Day, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018, at the age of 84 years. Jean will be lovingly remembered by: her children: Doreen (Hank) Harder, Doris Merasty, Rose (Sam) Bird, Gordon (Linda) Day, David Day, Clem (Stacy) Day, Dorothy (Kevin) Johnstone, Cher Day, and Kris Day; her grandchildren: Bill, Darren, Cynthia, Jennifer, Amanda, Gordon Jr, Crystal, David, Nicole, Shannon, David Jr., Benita, Daylene, Keldon, Marco, Leonard, Kerra, and Lucas; as well as 30 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; her daughters-in-law: Marilyn, Anita, Janet, and Nancy; her special nephew: Fred Bekkattla; her brother-in-law: Lawrence Chanalaquay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren from the North. Jean was predeceased by: her parents: Joseph & Lucia Bekkattla; her siblings: Victoria, Leon (infant), Michel, Euphrasie, Couronne, Patrice, Ambroise (infant), Marie (child), Magloire (infant), and Julie; her life partners: Pierre Vandale, and Alfred Letendre; her children: Clement (infant), Margaret (infant); her grandson: Ozzie McKenzie; her son-in-law: Art Merasty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday October 16, 2018 – 11:00AM, at the East Hill Hall, 290 23rd Street East, Prince Albert, SK.
