Earl James Rice
October 26, 1929 – September 18, 2018

Earl James Rice, late of Big River, SK, passed away in Big River, SK, on September 18, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Earl was a strong man that loved the outdoors. His life involved horses, fishing, outfitting, gardening, and collecting. He spent many hours tinkering on things in his garage. He will be remembered for many hunting trips, and his ability to navigate in the forest. Earl will be lovingly remembered by: his step-children: Willow (Derrel) Brown, Elsie (Ivan) Fauth, Judy (Tom) Dubas, and Chester Dubas; his step-grandchildren: Charity Franta-Brown, Lloyd Brown, Jenna Fauth, Gram Fauth, and Maegan Dubas; his close friend: Scott Reed; Earl was predeceased by: his wife: Lorna Rice; his father: Homer Rice; his mother: Mary Rice; his brothers: Aubry, Raymond, and Roy; and his sister: Bernice. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 – 2:00PM, at the Big River Community Hall, Big River, SK.
