Obituary for Gordon Everitt

Gordon Everitt
July 13, 1940 – May 12, 2018
The family of Gordon Everitt are saddened by his sudden passing on May 12, 2018. Gordon was born in Prince Albert on June 13, 1940. He was the second child born to Harold and Hilda Everitt. He spent his childhood in Prince Albert playing hockey and fastball. He met Donna Henderson and they were married on June 2, 1966. They raised their family and spent summers at the cabin at Emma Lake. Gordon worked at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary for a number of years. He explored the real estate profession for several years before committing to a long term employment history with Weyerhaeuser at the P.A. Pulp and Paper Mill. Gordon retired from the Mill and enjoyed visiting friends and family. He was predeceased by his parents: Harold and Hilda Everitt. He is survived by his loving wife: Donna of 51 years; siblings: Lyle (Marlene) Everitt, Doug (Connie) Everitt, and Carol Everitt McIntyre; children: Jason (Liz) Everitt and Jay-Lynn (Eric) Faul; grandchildren: Kellin, Kyle and Daniel Everitt, Colby, Jenna and Alissa Faul. It is the wishes of the family that a private Service will be held at a later date. Many thanks to Dr. Bischoff for years of exceptional care, along with the great staff of Parkland Ambulance, the Victoria Hospital and Good Shepherd Villa. The family requests that any tributes be considered for donation to the Heart and Stroke Association, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
