John Edwin Lorne Howden
John Edwin Lorne Howden passed away peacefully at the Prince Albert hospital on April 9, 2018 surrounded by his family at the age of 68 years. John leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Jean of 43 years, their son Greg (Amanda) Howden of Calgary, Andrew (Lisa) Howden of Prince Albert, Jennifer (Ryan) Belles of Assiniboia, his eight grandchildren; Natasha, Jaclyn, and Dallan Howden, Bria, Brydon, and Kiera Howden, Maura and Hayden Belles. He is the third youngest of eight boys; Roy (Anne), Bill (June), Dennis (Gail), Joe (Alice), Alex (Isabelle), Norman (Minnie-Lou), Ben (Carol). He is predeceased by his parents James and Elda Howden and sister-in-law Janice Howden. Most of his career was with Sask Power – from which he retired after 35 years of service in 2011. A smiling face and a kind friendly word is how John could be recognized. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed his friends, gardening, camping, boating, ski-dooing with his kids, and continued these and many more activities with his grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 – 11:00 am at the Art Hauser Centre’s Ches Leach Room, 690 32 St E, Prince Albert, SK.
