A life so well lived. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marvin; Our dear Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, uncle, brother, cousin and friend to so many.
Marvin passed away peacefully with his Mary at his side, surrounded by his family.
Marvin is survived by his beloved Mary, the love of his life for 71 years. Their five children, Doug & Shirley, Bruce & Joan, Joanne & Brian, Keith & Marian, Ryan & Kelley; fifteen Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren; special brother-in-law and friend Billy; his sister-in-law Joan and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends of all ages.
Marvin was pre-deceased by his beloved Grand-daughter Jaden Mary, Great Grand-baby William “Billy” Bandy, his parents Andrew and Nancy (Agnes) Byrne, Mary’s parents, Billy and Norah Given, his siblings and their spouses, as well as many loved ones and friends.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Pat, Kristin and all the caring staff at Good Shepherd Villa for making Dad’s journey so comforting. We are forever grateful. Our thanks to Dr. De Villiers for always caring for Dad with utmost respect.
Marvin was a humble and proud man. Proud of his farm; Proud of the Country he served and fiercely Proud of his family.
We will celebrate Marvin’s life with family and friends at a later date.
