Virginia Barbara Bird, late of La Ronge, SK, passed away on January 6, 2018 in La Ronge, SK at the age of 82 years. Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her children: Allen (Bella) Bradfield, Norma Bird (Les Keighley), Cathy Young (Ray McKenzie), Hector (Kathy) Bird, Tommy Bird & Teco (April) Bird; her grandchildren: Charmaine (Jamie), Rachel, Nikki-Jo, Gil-Ryan, David (Shirley), Edwin (Brittany), Donny (Janet), Kenny, Candace (Lonnie), Roxanne (Scott), Andrew (Giselle), Jen (J.R.), & Shantell; her 33 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren; her sisters: Irene (Matt) Bojanowski & Norma Mercredi; her sister-in-law: Annie Gromley; her brother: Ben Bradfield; her brother-in-law: Dan Gromley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Virginia was predeceased by her husband: Hector Bird Sr.; her father & mother: Redmond & Catherine (nee Ross) Bradfield; her father-in-law & mother-in-law: George & Georgina (nee Sanderson) Bird; her daughter: Alice Georgina Bird; her brothers: James Bradfield, George Bradfield, Johnny Bradfield & Allan Bradfield; her sisters: Mary Johnson & Annie Halkett; her grandchild: Brent James (B.J.) Bird; her great grandchild: Tiara Caisse; as well as numerous other relatives. A Wake Service will be Commencing Wednesday, January 10, 2018 – 5:00 pm, Kitsaki Hall, La Ronge, SK. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 – 1:00 pm, All Saints Anglican Church, La Ronge, SK.
