Condolence: My family was very proud to call Mike a close friend for the past 12 years. He was like a grandfather to my son Devin and my daughter Morgan. A very kind, gentle and generous man. Condolence: We only met Mike once, at Dave & Taisha's wedding, but we communicated frequently by email, sharing jokes ans stories. Mike was indeed a kindly spirit and much appreciated. His decision to take control of his life when he saw no likelihood of future independence is thoughtful and admirable. We send our condolences to the whole family and we will make a charitable donation in Mike's memory to the Heart & Stroke society. To Charlie and Lily, I must say that I (Arnie) can understand your pain in losing your grandfather, as both my dearly loved grandmothers died when I was just thirteen and I miss them still, but mostly I have good memories.
