Olive Harriett Ferguson
July 26, 1931 – September 19, 2017
Olive Harriett Ferguson, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2017 after a short illness. Olive was born July 26, 1931 at St. Benedict, SK, to Olga and Harry Denomey. Olive is survived by her children: James Ferguson of Burns Lake, BC, Dale Sauer (Benelia) of Edmonton, AB, Debbie Ferguson of Vancouver, BC, Wayne (Geri) Sauer of Prince Albert, Terry (Vivian) Riske of Couer d’Alene, Idaho, Gary Sauer of Edmonton, AB, Shelley (Rob) McConechy of West Kelowna, BC; daughter-in-law: Karen (Jason) Sauer of Prince Albert; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grand-children; her brothers and sister: Fergus (Glenda) of Oliver, BC, Terri Eaton of Kamloops, BC, Jim (Rose) Denomey of Kamloops, BC; sister-in-law: Dorothy (Norman) Binkley of Hudson Bay, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and her special community of friends near and around 33 River St. Apartment building. Olive was predeceased by her parents; husband: Arnold Sauer (1966); son: Brian Sauer (2003); husband: Clifford (2005); brothers: Harvey and Lucien Denomey; and sister: Stella McCarter. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 - 1:00 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, 1104 4th St. E., Prince Albert, Sk. with Rev. Susan Salo officiating. Olive’s remains will be interred in the family niche in Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, following the service at the church.
