YOOYA, John Louie, late of Stony Rapids, SK, passed away on May 20, 2013 in Stony Rapids, SK at the age of 71 years. He was born in the Far North, SK, on October 19, 1941. John Louie will be lovingly remembered by his brothers: Mathew (Mary) Yooya and Jerry Yooya; his sisters: Dora Yooya, Mary Jane Yooya (John Bilt), and Theresa (Lawrence) Saddleback; his nieces: Vanessa Yooya, Amy Yooya, Shannon (Jesse) Joseyounen, Giselle Yooya, Taylor Saddleback, Jessie (Edmond) Cardinal, Stacy (Grant) Howat and Janelle Yooya; his nephews: Wesley Yooya, Darcy Yooya, Charles Yooya, Kevin Yooya, Devin (Wanda) Yooya and Justin Yooya ; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

John Louie was predeceased by his parents: Roderick and Cecilia Yooya; his nieces: Amanda Yooya, Donna Yooya, Tracy LeeAnn Yooya and Melissa Yooya; his brothers: Edward Yooya, Modest Yooya and Philip Yooya; his sisters: Marie Rose Dettaniba (Yooya) and Bernadette Ernestine Yooya; his cousin: Edwin Boneleye; and also numerous relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013, 1:00 pm, at MacKenzie Chapel. A Wake will commence Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the residence of the late John Louie Yooya in Stony Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013, 2:00 pm, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church in Stony Rapids, SK. Interment at Stony Lake Cemetery.
