Lucien married Jeanette Koolick in October of 1956 and resided at the home quarter, where she and Glen still live. Along with farming, he worked for the RM of Blaine Lake, and started a construction company.
Lucien loved to fish, hunt, and was involved in hockey for many years; as a coach and a parent. His favorite team was the Montreal Canadiens. In the household this caused many discussions. He was a successful farmer and took pride in his family. He enjoyed watching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren grow.
